Train connections are also available from Bhubaneswar and Ranchi.

The Institute is located around 8 km from the Railway Station and 2 km from the Sector-3 Bus Stop.

Usual auto fares are approximately ₹150–₹200 from the Railway Station and ₹100 from Sector-3 Bus Stop. App-based taxi services are also available in Rourkela.
